SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Harrison Barnes had 27 points and the Sacramento Kings held on just to beat the San Antonio Spurs 115-112 Thursday, whose coach Gregg Popovich followed an NBA-record-tying win by by Don Nelson.
The Spurs have lost three straight since Popovich reached 1,334 regular-season wins during his career.
De’Aaron Fox added 26 points for Sacramento. Domantas Sabonis had 12 and 12 rebounds before being fouled out with a minute remaining.
Lonnie Walker IV had 30 points for San Antonio, while Dejounte Murray had 29, while he had 12 rebounds and seven assists.
San Antonio played at home for the first time since Feb. 4, following a 4-4 record over the course of the tour it must undertake each year as its home is used for a rodeo and cattle show.
