King’s couple helps PSV to an easy victory over NAC

PSV recorded an easy 3-0 win over NAC on Saturday evening. In Breda, the leader of the Eredivisie was a size too big for the PhD candidate. Ricardo Pepi and Ismael Saibari were important for the Eindhoven team. The two PSV players found each other easily in the first half.

NAC started the match with good intentions and tried to put PSV under pressure, but after a few minutes the Eredivisie leader managed to play under that pressure.

The Eindhoven team became especially dangerous through Saibari and Pepi. They were given a starting place by trainer Peter Bosz on Saturday evening. That was at the expense of Luuk de Jong and Guus Til. The fact that the score was 0-1 after 21 minutes did not exactly come out of the blue.

Saibari and Pepi accurate
Rick Karsdorp sent Saibari away with a nice through ball. He kept an overview and handed the ball to Pepi on a silver platter. The American striker scored the opening goal. Fifteen minutes later it was 0-2 in Breda. This time the roles were reversed: Pepi was the scorer, Saibari the scorer.

NAC consciously chose not to park the bus in front of the goal, but therefore had to allow many spaces. PSV took full advantage of this.

Clear difference
After more than an hour of football, Johan Bakayoko finally ended the match. The ball got stuck in the NAC sixteen-meter area and the Belgian was quick to tap in the 0-3.

The difference between the leader of the Eredivisie and a PhD candidate was big on the field. NAC tried, but as soon as PSV felt like playing football, the Eindhoven team cut like a knife through butter.

Now the international break awaits for both teams. After that, the derby against Willem II is on the program for NAC. PSV will then receive a visit from FC Groningen.
