Berlin – The attack on Peter R. de Vries is ‘an attack on the rule of law’. King Willem-Alexander said this at the beginning of the third day of the state visit to Germany. He called De Vries ‘a special journalist’. The attack made a big impression on the royal couple. “We are very upset by it,” said the king. He said he is aware that the event also has a major impact on the people who are dear to him and the direct colleagues of the crime journalist.
