Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Saudi Arabia takes revenge against the Houthi group in Yemen. Sunday (27/3/2022) early in the morning local time, the country of King Salman launched an air attack.
according to TV Al Ekhbariya, the attack targeted Sanaa, the capital controlled by the Houthi group. The attacks began shortly after the Iran-backed Houthis announced a three-day ceasefire.
The Houthis also offered peace talks. Provided Saudi Arabia stops air strikes, blockade Yemen and expel foreign troops.
“Air strikes on Huthi camps and strongholds in Sanaa started around midnight,” the media tweeted, quoted by France 24, Monday (28/3/2022).
Previously, the Houthis were responsible for the burning of an oil depot in the Saudi city of Jeddah. This terror was launched ahead of the F-1 show which took place on Sunday.

Sarea, in a statement, even added that the attack also targeted a number of vital facilities in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh.
Meanwhile, the UN reacted. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the sudden increase in hostilities.
He said that eight civilians, including five children and two women, were reportedly killed in the retaliatory attack in Sanaa. The UN compound was also vandalized.
“The Secretary-General strongly condemns the recent escalation of the conflict in Yemen,” said spokesman Stephane Dujarric. “Deeply concerned.”
