“King Salman emphasizes Saudi Arabia’s role in serving the Two Holy Mosques in Eid Al-Fitr message”

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – In his first comment after announcing Friday as the first day of Eid al-Fitr, the Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, highlighted the Kingdom’s role in serving the Two Holy Mosques and facilitating Umrah for millions of people every year, and expressed his wish that stability prevail. And the security of the region and the world on this occasion.

King Salman said, in statements reported by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA): “We are pleased to congratulate you on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr. May you rest in security, peace and reassurance.”

And the Saudi monarch continued, saying: “It is from God’s grace and success that he singles out the Kingdom, above other countries, with an unparalleled honor, which is serving the Two Holy Mosques, and ensuring the comfort of the guests of God, including pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.”

And King Salman added, “We are very proud of that, and we feel the sacred duty, and we fulfill the honorable responsibility. We make every effort, thought and money, and we continue night and day, since the establishment of the state at the hands of the founder, through the eras of his sons, the kings after him, and we are proud and honored to continue the mission, and we will remain on it.” That is always God willing.”

And the Saudi monarch added, “One of God’s countless blessings is that it will be easy in Ramadan this year to perform Umrah for millions of pilgrims. We ask God to accept it from us and from them. in order to facilitate the performance of their worship and their asceticism.”

King Salman concluded by saying: “Among the manifestations of the happy Eid is showing joy, communication, tolerance, and caring for those in need. May God keep us and you happy and happy. We hope that the Eid comes with news of stability, security, and reassurance for our region, and for the whole world with His might and power, the Blessed and Exalted,” as he put it.

And the Saudi Supreme Court had announced earlier Thursday that Friday will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr after the success of sighting the crescent, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
