RIYADH – Leader Saudi Arabia, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud called on the international community to recognize Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism. King Salman said the international community must be aware of the dangers of this role Iran in supporting terrorism, extremism and sectarianism.

“The Saudis affirm the danger of a regional project by the Iranian regime, and we reject its interference in internal affairs and its support for terrorism, extremism and sectarianism,” said King Salman while delivering a statement at the Shura Council. “We call on the international community to take a strong position against Iran to ensure it does not acquire weapons of mass destruction and develop its ballistic missile project,” he continued.
