King Salman bin Abdulaziz Sends Message to President of South Sudan – Bilateral Relations and Cooperation Discussed

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, sent a verbal message to Lieutenant General Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of South Sudan, related to bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance joint cooperation.

The message was conveyed by Ahmed Qattan, Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court, during Mayardit’s reception to him in Juba, on Wednesday, and they discussed bilateral relations, and ways to support and develop them in various fields, and they also reviewed all regional and international events of common interest.

The President of South Sudan affirmed his country’s full support for Saudi Arabia’s request to host the “Expo 2030” in Riyadh, expressing its welcome to hold the “first Saudi-African and fifth Arab-African” summits in the Kingdom this year.

On the other hand, Counselor Qattan discussed with Dau Deng, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan, the bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.

During a press conference after their meeting in Juba, Deng renewed his country’s support for the “Expo 2030” file and its welcome to hold the two summits in Saudi Arabia, while Qattan expressed the Kingdom’s government’s appreciation for this support, which reflects the distinguished relations between the two countries.
