King of Queens actor Jerry Stiller has died

Ben Stiller announced on Twitter on Monday that his father, Jerry Stiller, had passed away. “I have the sad news that my father has died,” says the Twitter message. The 92-year-old died of natural causes.

Jerry Stiller is best known for his role as a curious old father-in-law Arthur Spooner in the sitcom “King of Queens” (1998-2007) and was also seen frequently in the 90s series “Seinfeld”. He also appeared in a number of films, including “Zoolander” (2001), “Airport 2” and “Stops the Death Voyage of Subway 123” (both 1974).
