King Charles III is known to own castles and palaces all over the United Kingdom, but many do not know that he owns a magnificent country house in Romania.
King Charles first visited Romania in the 1990s, and fell in love with the country, so much so that he now makes an annual visit and owns a holiday home there.
Fans of the royal family can stay in this house, which may appear modest from the outside. The private king room is also available to rent individually, and contains a king-size bed, a dressing room, and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub.
To maintain simplicity and an authentic, quiet rural atmosphere, Charles refrained from providing the house with a Wi-Fi network, TV, or any other electronic device, and replaced all of that with a large collection of interesting books.
Each room has a private electric kettle, but the main dining facilities are shared, where the chef prepares food from the local produce available.
At Christmas, the guest house can arrange fairytale-themed horse-drawn sleigh rides. In the warmer months, guests can participate in horse riding and trips to local mineral pools, along with bear tracking and botany tours.
As for the costs of staying at home, they are reasonable, as the cost of one night ranges between 150 and 400 dollars, depending on the size of the room, according to what was reported by the newspaper “The Sun” British.
