The eggs flew to the British king during their engagement in the north of England. Police arrested a man who threw an egg at British King Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla, BTA reported.
The incident happened when the royal couple arrived for a traditional ceremony in the city of York. The man missed and the egg fell next to the monarch. Police officers rushed to arrest the protester chanting slogans.
Charles and his wife are on a two-day visit to the north of England.
