King Charles III Leaves Hospital After Enlarged Prostate Surgery

King Charles III has left hospital after surgery for an enlarged prostate. Together with Camilla, they walked out of the front entrance of the London clinic and greeted the crowd of reporters waiting for them.

“The King was released from hospital this afternoon following routine medical treatment and has rescheduled upcoming public engagements to give himself time for personal recovery,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

“He would like to thank the medical team and everyone involved in supporting his hospital visit and is grateful for all the kind messages he has received these days,” the statement said.

Queen Camilla, who visited her husband three times in the hospital, came to see him when he was discharged. She wore a blue dress and a black cape and high suede boots, and carried a green bag from the DeMellier London brand. The monarch was wearing a gray suit, a long black coat and perfectly polished black shoes.

Recall that on Friday, 75-year-old King Charles was admitted to the London Clinic, the same hospital where his daughter-in-law, Princess Catherine of Wales, underwent abdominal surgery. Before the procedure, the monarch visited his daughter-in-law.

The Princess of Wales was also discharged from hospital on Monday to continue treatment at home in Windsor. She was in the hospital for almost two weeks.
