King Charles III has cancer. This was reported in a statement from Buckingham Palace, a few days after theprostate operation undergone by the sovereign 75 year old British. The monarch, we learn from the official note, will postpone commitments during therapy. Charles III, it is added, “remains totally positive about his treatment which has already started and looks forward to returning to full public service as soon as possible.”
The palace note underlines how the tumor was
discovered during exams for prostate surgery: “Diagnostic tests have
identified a tumor form“, on which, however, no further details are provided.
However, the note from Buckingham Palace informs that “His Majesty has
started a treatment program todayduring which he was advised by doctors to postpone all his public commitments”. Nonetheless, the statement clarifies, “during this period, His Majesty will continue to follow state affairs and work as usual”.
