King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Queen Silvia tested positive for coronavirus despite being vaccinated against COVID-19 three times. This was reported on Tuesday, January 4, by The Local.
“The royal couple have been isolated at home according to the rules, and tracing of their contacts continues,” the Royal Court said.
It is also noted that the course of the disease in the 75-year-old king and his 78-year-old wife is mild.
