Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia, received a delegation from Mallorca Palma Futsal this Thursday night on the occasion of their historic conquest of the Champions League on May 7.
As the Balearic team pointed out in a press release this Friday, at the reception held at the Marivent Palace, the monarchs, who were accompanied by Queen Emeritus Doña Sofía, “acknowledged the merit of the club and congratulated it on its triumph”.
Tomeu Quetglas, president of Mallorca Palma Futsal, and José Tirado, general director, together with the coach Antonio Vadillo and the players Carlos Barrón, Mario Rivillos and Jesús Gordillo, offered the trophy to the Kings, who “expressed their admiration for the work that led the Mallorcan team to win the most prestigious title in European futsal in a Velòdrom Illes Balears full of fans”.
