Kinetic Games Announces Phasmophobia Launch for Xbox Series X/S in August 2023

JAKARTA – Developer Kinetic Games announced during its Xbox Games Showcase Extended broadcast that the psychological horror game Phasmophobia will also launch for Xbox Series X/S in August 2023.

First released for Steam in early access in 2020, it’s safe to say that the game has been very well received by gamers in the time that has passed since the time of its first release.

That reason then led to Kinetic Games’ desire to continue updating and improving the game, by releasing Phasmophobia to Xbox.

“Phasmophobia now comes to Xbox Series X|S in August 2023. Phasmophobia is a 4 player, online co-op, psychological horror game,” the developer wrote in the announcement.

Not only that, Kinetic Games has also confirmed that the game will also be available for PS5, including full support for PS VR2.

Here, you will play with a team of paranormal investigators to enter a haunted location filled with paranormal activity and try to collect as much evidence as possible.

While exploring this haunted location, you can use your ghost hunting gear to find and record evidence to sell to the ghost busting team.

Using a variety of items and investigative techniques, players attempt to make contact with creatures to try and determine what kind of ghost they’re dealing with, though of course, while doing so, you’re also always in danger of falling victim.
