Lack of sleep
Sleep is very good for the body system and can refresh itself, including the brain, which cleanses itself of dirt. However, poor sleep quality can lead to an increased risk of heart disease, cancer, and dementia. Experts, including those from the US National Sleep Foundation, recommend that adults sleep 7-9 hours per day.
Too long sitting
Sitting too long and not exercising can lead to serious illnesses, such as dementia, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Experts recommend a daily walk of 150 minutes per week.
Always stressed
Stress management is very important to keep the body in top shape. Stress can increase disease chronic and make cells age faster.
Lonely
A study has found loneliness can have negative health effects similar to obesity and lack of physical activity. In fact, a recent Finnish study found that men who felt lonely for two decades were more likely to be diagnosed with cancer and face a worse prognosis.
High blood pressure
Blood pressure should not be higher than 130/80. According to the Harvard Medical School, about 70-79 percent of men over the age of 55 technically have high blood pressure. Over time, high blood pressure can damage blood vessels throughout the body, increasing the risk of stroke, heart attack, and dementia.
