After the Temtem wave, yet another project amply inspired by the Pokémon universe is launching its Kickstarter: Kindred Fates campaign.
At the time of writing, Kindred Fates has raised 22,942 euros for its Kickstarter campaign, whose target is set at € 45,386. He remains in the game for 28 days, before completing his funding process launched by Skymill Studios.
Open world role-playing and monster battles, Kindred fates is planned for a first release on PC in 2023 and, if funds allow, for a later port on Nintendo Switch. Here, the little monsters are called “Kinfolk”, and everyone can evolve in their own way.
As an obscure fog invades the world, you must explore it in search of its secrets and save the lost souls of the Kinfolks in the process. We plan in parallel of the solo mode, a multi aspect in 1v1 and 2v2.
The way you treat your little beasts will have a direct influence on your relationships; so it will be necessary to deal with it with the affection they claim. Likewise, losing battles will have harmful consequences on your links, especially since permadeath is a characteristic of the game.
