Mustafa Uzun, who worked as an engineer in the Regional Directorate of Foundations in Tokat, came to his home in his lodge, located opposite the Fatih Mosque, at Beybağı Mahallesi at around 21.30. Uzun stepped on the bell of his house but did not open it. When he could not reach his wife on the phone, he was worried and called a locksmith. Mustafa Uzun, who entered the house where the locksmith opened his door, found his wife Kayra, who was studying in a private school in the 4th grade, hanging motionlessly in his kitchen, while his natural gas pipe hung in the kitchen. Upon notice, police and medical teams were sent home. In the examination made by the teams, it was determined that the mother and her son died. In the first examination, it was found that mother Tuğba Uzun, who was learned to use depression medicines because of her psychological problems, committed suicide by hanging herself in the kitchen after she killed her son with a bread knife. Father Mustafa Uzun, who had a bad post after the painful event, was taken to the State Hospital by the medical teams. After the police and prosecutor’s examination at home, the lifeless body of the mother and her son was removed to the morgue of the State Hospital for an autopsy.
An investigation was launched into the incident.

It was learned that Tuğba Uzun, who previously worked as a teacher at the April 23 Kindergarten in the city, was appointed as Deputy Director to Tokat State Hospital Kindergarten 3 months ago. Tuğba Uzun, who was reported to have been receiving medication for anxiety disorder, went to his son Kayra’s school yesterday for his report card ceremony, took his son who received his report card, came home, called his wife Mustafa Uzun, by phone, saying, “Come home after 21:00.” it was learned.
12 HANDSELF AFTER KNIFEING FROM
As a result of the researches, it was determined that mother Tuğba Uzun hung himself after killing her son Kayra with 12 knives with a knife.
It was reported that Kayra, a successful student at the school, received a certificate of appreciation with his report card.
It was noted that the mother and son, whose autopsy procedures are continuing, will be buried in Sivas tomorrow.
