POOR, KOMPAS.com – A female teacher at a kindergarten (TK) in Kota Poor with the initials S (40) entangled in a loan online (loan) up to around IDR 40 million on 24 application.
S had had the intention of committing suicide due to being terrorized by debt collector of the loan application.
In his written statement, S was forced to borrow money in the loan application online for the need to pay for college. S college as a requirement to be able to continue teaching in the kindergarten where he teaches. In that kindergarten, S has been teaching for 13 years.
“I borrowed the beginning of the story online is due to the need to pay tuition fees at a university in Malang, amounting to Rp. 2,500,000 because indeed from the demands of the institution where I teach, I must have an S1 diploma, “he said in a written statement received. S then got caught up in a number of loan applications online because to pay for the previous loan, he was forced to borrow on the application online another. Until finally S borrowed in 24 loans online with a value of around Rp. 40 million.
Slamet Yuono said that this case stems from S’s ignorance of the loan online.

After being traced, the loan application online many of those used by S were illegal. Slamet said, from 24 loan applications online used by S, as many as 19 applications were loans online illegal. Only five applications are legal and registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

His party has sent a letter to the Investment Alert Task Force related to the case and will send another letter to ask about the progress of the case.

Fired as a teacher
Meanwhile, S was fired as a teacher since November 5, 2020 due to this case.
Initially, S told his fellow teachers with a purpose if any debt collector who contact to be ignored.
However, the school who knew about the case decided to fire S.

Slamet Yuono admitted to handling this case on a pro bono basis, or free of charge as a lesson for loan application providers online illegal. In addition, S who became the victim was the teacher of her child while attending the kindergarten where S taught.
