News exhibition KinderArt! 2024 – Digital and in the children’s office

The exhibition KinderArt! 2024 shows works of art by young Frankfurt artists. KinderArt! is a project of the Frankfurt Children’s Office. This advocates for the interests of children in Frankfurt. The basis is the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The current exhibition deals with inclusion, Article 23 “Promotion of disabled children” of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. 170 children between the ages of 3 and 14 took part. 40 works of art were created. The young artists show their thinking and lots of ideas about how children with disabilities can act and play. What is most important to them is how they can integrate children with disabilities.
The aim of the Frankfurt Children’s Office is to make children’s opinions on social issues visible in public spaces. Children express their experience of life in creative ways. The exhibition can be viewed Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Frankfurt Children’s Office at Schleiermacherstrasse 7 and digitally at frankfurter-kinderbuero.deExternal Link.
