The alarm about Kinder products initially seemed an absolutely negligible fact and limited to some foreign countries but in reality it is gradually spreading.
Obviously the consumers are extremely worry because salmonella is no small threat and above all because Kinder products tend to be reserved for children.
But Kinder is a company not only Italian, but that sells throughout Europe and therefore now it becomes essential to understand which products should be avoided here in Italy.
What are the indicted products in Italy
Practically every European country is now wondering which batches of Kinder should be thrown away or in any case not consumed. Let’s see what we know to date.
The confirmed cases of salmonella amount to 105. In addition to these 105 cases actually established, there are another 29 in the process of being clarified. All these cases concern a bit all of Europe however, it is important to note that none of these involved Italy. In any case, the authorities of our country have still considered it to pick up some Kinder products: some of it is a concern and some of it is a precautionary measure. Surely it may be a good idea for consumers to avoid any Kinder product that bears the fact that it has been produced on the label in Arlon in Belgium.

In fact, the Kinder factory from which practically all products with salmonella have come out is precisely that of Arlon in Belgium. As far as Italy is concerned, the products indicted and therefore to be collected belong to the following types. Kinder Surprise Maxi Smurfs and Miraculous, the Kinder Surprise T6 “Pulcini” and Kinder Schoko Bons. In some cases it is all the products, in other cases it is only a few lots and therefore it will be at the supermarket to understand which ones are to be withdrawn from sale.
How to behave in the supermarket
In this period of strong food alarm due to possibility of rationing due to the war in Ukraine, this umpteenth alarm and this umpteenth difficulty from a food point of view certainly did not want us. But surely better be informed to avoid major problems. But in this period strange conspiracy theories are spreading around the internet related to the fact that there are too many food withdrawals. This, although serious, is absolutely by chance and these withdrawals have absolutely nothing to do with the war in Ukraine or anything like that.
