Kimia Farma as the operator of the rapid test service at Soekarno-Hatta Airport also expressed its gratitude to the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police for arresting the EF suspect.

The EF suspect is currently being temporarily detained at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Detention Center to undergo further legal proceedings.

“We thank the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police for the arrest of medical personnel who are suspected of extortion and harassment,” he said.

Adil also said Kimia Farma apologized for the incidents of sexual harassment, extortion and fraud to Soekarno-Hatta Airport Management.

The incident of fraud, harassment and extortion by the EF suspect is known to have started from uploading the victim’s story with the initials LHI on social media.

The victim told about the incident of sexual harassment she experienced on September 13, 2020, shortly after carrying out a rapid test at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

The victim said that initially the suspect EF offered to change the results of the rapid test from reactive to non-reactive so that the victim could continue traveling.

After changing the results of the rapid test, the victim was asked for an amount of money by the suspect. However, when he gave the money worth Rp. 1.4 million, the suspect returned to sexual harassment against the victim.
