Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir Eric said Pharmaceutical Chemistry will serve the vaccine booster the Sinopharm brand in its 350 clinics. This third stage of vaccination is part of the program gotong royong vaccine.
Erick asked Kimia Farma clinic not only to provide booster vaccinations for COVID-19, but also to provide other health services, including for other vaccination services.
He got this readiness after reviewing the readiness of Kimia Farma clinics at Bendungan Hilir and Radio Dalam, Jakarta, on Wednesday (23/2).
“Health is one of the most important keys, so it is necessary to consolidate in a health ecosystem, especially in BUMN,” said Erick in a written statement, Wednesday (23/2).
Erick said that the implementation of the booster via Kimia Farma was a follow-up to the issuance of the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) or emergency approval from the POM as a homolog booster for adults 18 years and over for the Sinopharm vaccine.
“This BUMN transformation is expected to make BUMN a transparent and professional corporation and must be able to provide the best service for the community,” he added.
During the visit, Erick also saw the entire flow of the Sinopharm vaccine booster vaccination process and service, from storage to the booster vaccination injection process.
On the same occasion, Erick also conveyed that Citibank Indonesia’s booster vaccination program with Sinopharm vaccine will be implemented for 1,500 Citibank Indonesia employees at 14 Kimia Farma clinic locations throughout Indonesia.
