Aniplex and CyberConnect2 present us the next trio of fighters Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles in front. Again, these are alternative forms that are available from the spin-off Chuukou Ikkan !! Kimetsu Gakuen Monogatari knows. After Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado and Giyu Tomioka it is now the turn of Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira and Shinobu Kocho.
These versions not only look different, but also fight differently than the standard fighters. A new trailer introduces us to the three newcomers.
Chuukou Ikkan !! Kimetsu Gakuen Monogatari takes Demon Slayer’s seriousness and takes place in a modern school setting. Zenitsu Agatsuma is here looking for a girlfriend and is making sure that the dress code is observed. Inosuke Hashibira is a celebrity because he lived alone in the mountains for a long time. Shinobu Kocho takes on the role of the pretty and talented student.
Other playable characters include the water column Giyu Tomioka, the protagonist Tanjiro (water breathing) and his sister Nezuko, wild boar head Inosuke and Pikachu blend Zenitsu, Sakonji Urokodaki as well as Sabito and Makomo. The Shinobu Kocho insect pillar and the Kyojuro Rengoku pillar of fire were also announced. Tanjiro Kamado in his Hinokami-Kagura form and Murata are also at the start.
Demon Slayer in a nutshell
Players immerse themselves in the world of anime and slip into the role of Tanjiro Kamado. His fate was difficult because his family was slaughtered and his little sister was turned into a demon. Tanjiro takes up his sword and is henceforth a demon hunter.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is set to appear in 2021 for PCs and all major consoles with the exception of Nintendo Switch. Sega takes on an English implementation in Asia. Similar to the “Naruto Ninja Storm” series, the game is a 3D arena beater. So far, a story mode and a tag battle mode have also been announced.
