This is not the first time that China has caused controversy over kimchi. On the 9th, Chinese YouTuber Ritsuchi, who had 14 million subscribers, posted a video of kimchi making, and tagged’traditional Chinese cuisine’ (#ChineseCuisine) and’Chinese food’ (#ChineseFood).

Afterwards, Korean netizens commented on the video, such as “Kimchi is Korean,” “Don’t cross the line” “The Chinese are promoting Korean food”, but Ritsuchi has not corrected the content. The video recorded more than 4 million views in three days of upload.
