KIM Plus Balik Group from Kaesang, Usung Luthfi-Yasin in Central Java Province

Indonesian Progressive Alliance (KIM) decided not to carry it Hundred of Pangarepson of President Jokowi, in the 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election.

KIM selected former Central Java Police Chief Ahmad Luthfi as candidate for Governor of Central Java. Meanwhile, the seat for deputy governor candidate was given to PPP politician Taj Yasin Maimoen.

“Maybe more than a week ago, we decided Pak Luthfi and Gus Yasin,” Gerindra Party Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said at the Jakarta Parliament Center, Friday (23/8).

He stressed that the decision not to nominate Kaesang was not a result of the Constitutional Court’s (MK) ruling regarding minimum age requirements for regional head candidates. Dasco said the decision was made about a week ago.

Dasco understands that there is indeed a proposal regarding the Kaesang claim in Central Java. However, KIM has already made his choice.

In addition, Dasco said, Kaesang was also not in Indonesia before the registration time for regional head candidates.

“At the moment, Kaesang is not in Indonesia because it is No record,” he said.

Before that, Kaesang Pangarep entered the candidate market for the deputy governor of Central Java. PAN General Chairman Zulkifli Hasan has also offered the position to Kaesang.

“I said just now, Mas Kaesang, if not Jakarta, what about Central Java? Just now, we asked,” said Zulhas at the PAN DPP Office in South Jakarta, Wednesday (14/ 8).
