Kim and Jaap are in Turkey with their three children. “The first days of our vacation are great,” Kim writes. The couple cannot lie quietly on a beach bed all the time. ‘It is hard work with 3 children of this age. But also enjoy it so much.’

Fortunately, the environment is beautiful. ‘It seems as if we have arrived in Bali. The turquoise sea water is bizarre! Calm rippling water. Delicious temperature. Flat gravelly beach.’

They really picked a great place in Turkey. ‘We are in the greenest part of the country, great food, the service. Most beautiful part of Turkey. And it certainly doesn’t feel like an all-in resort. There are quite a few mini slides in the kids area. But everything is cute and smaller.’
