In an interview with Kek Mama Kim tells about the hustle and bustle at her home. Besides all the balls that she has to keep up herself, her love Jaap also has some. His singing career is going well, with a monster hit with our southern neighbors. Jaap also has a well-run podcast with his bosom friend Sander Schimmelpenninck.

Jaap spends a lot of time in Belgium for his work. Especially with little Ted, that is sometimes a tough challenge for Kim. “I’ve also noticed lately that I’ve taken on too much; too many deadlines, all the responsibility for the children, while Ted didn’t gain enough weight – that does something to you as a mother. Then you can still be so positive, that takes extra energy.”
Luckily Kim rang the bell before she got too angry. “I said to Jaap: ‘I need you now, I just can’t make it.’ Since I never ask for help, Jaap immediately knew it was serious and immediately cleared a few days in his agenda. We took a step back together, which immediately had a positive effect on Ted.”
