“To end the evening after the Met Gala, I had the privilege of dressing up in the Norman Norell Marilyn Monroe dress she wore to the Golden Globes in 1962. Looking for the beaded Jean Louis gown I wore to the gala, I discovered that @Juliens_Auctions was in possession of Marilyn’s iconic green sequined dress.During further research, I discovered that the owner of the Globe she received that evening was none other than my florist.I saw it as a sign of that all the stars aligned. One of the greatest privileges of my life is being able to channel my inner Marilyn in such a special way on such a special night. Thank you Julien’s Auction and Jeff for helping make this memory possible,” Kim wrote.

Judging by the photo from social networks, Kim slightly altered Monroe’s green dress, removing decorative draperies from the neckline.
