Kim Kardashian fears her ex-husband Ye might get in the way of her desire for a new relationship. That’s what the reality star says on the podcast Angie Martinez IRL. In the interview, she talks about motherhood and co-parenting with the rapper. She says she’s afraid her reputation won’t help her in her search for love.
“There’s a part of me that goes, ‘Oh my God, is everyone going to be scared because I don’t have the easiest ex?'” Kardashian, 42, said of Ye. “On the other hand, I don’t want to worry about that.”
The reality star has previously been in a brief relationship with Pete Davidson, but doesn’t mention it in the interview. The comedian was repeatedly publicly threatened by Ye during his relationship with Kardashian.
Kardashian says despite all the hoopla around her ex-husband, she’s positive about finding new love. “I’m a hopeless romantic and a strong believer in love. And I believe God will bring me the right one.”
Co-parenting with Ye, with whom Kardashian has four children, isn’t easy. “It’s fucking hard,” he said to her. “But I had the best father myself and I want my kids to feel that way too. That’s why I protect my kids and keep them away from all the negative messages about their father. One day they’ll thank me for it.”
“They’re not ready to go through all the drama. When they are, I talk to them about it. Until then, I do everything I can to keep their lives as normal as possible,” an emotional Kardashian said.
