A daughter of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has made her first public appearance. North Korean state media have published photos of Kim watching a rocket launch with the girl.
The photos were probably taken yesterday. State news agency KCNA did not mention the girl’s age, saying only that Kim attended the launch “with her beloved daughter and his wife.”

Little is known about Kim’s private life
Very little is known about the North Korean leader’s private life. In 2013, American basketball player Dennis Rodman said after a visit to North Korea that he averaged newborn daughter of Kim had held. The girl would be called Ju-ae. According to South Korean news agency Yonhap, Kim and his wife Ri Sol-ju may have two more children, but this has never been confirmed by state media.
Kim Jong-un took over the leadership of the country in 2011 from his father Kim Jong-il, who in turn succeeded his father Kim Il-sung. North Korea has never said anything about a possible successor to Kim Jong-un in the distant or near future.
