Over the past few months, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has been preparing his daughter Kim Ju-ae to take power. This was reported by the telegram channel “Bild in Russian” with reference to data from the South Korean intelligence services.
Kim Jong-un and Kim Ju-ae will lead North Korea together after the girl’s training ends, Bild newspaper sources in European intelligence agencies told the newspaper.
It is noted that this is a traditional practice for the DPRK: Kim Il Sen and Kim Jong Il ruled the country together from 1964 to 1994, and Kim Jong Il also quite quickly brought his son Kim Jong Un up to date with state affairs.

It was noted that the American nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Carl Vinson, the cruiser Princeton with the Aegis multifunctional combat system, ships of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the Republic of Korea Navy have been conducting joint naval exercises around Jeju Island since January 15.
