PYONGYANG, KOMPAS.TV – North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reportedly felt angry and cut diplomatic ties with Malaysia.
Malaysia’s decision to extradite a North Korean man who was charged with money laundering to the United States (US) was cited as the reason.
North Korea described Malaysia’s move as a major hostile act.

“Regarding the emergency situation that has occurred, the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs hereby announces the severance of diplomatic relations with Malaysia,” the report said. KCNA, quoted from Bloomberg.
The North Korean Foreign Ministry also accused Malaysia of bowing to US pressure.
“Malaysia will be fully responsible for all consequences arising between the two countries,” he continued.
