‘Queen of Tears’ depicts a miraculous love story of a couple who has been in their third year together overcoming a dizzying crisis.
Kim Soo-hyun plays Baek Hyeon-woo, a ‘gaecheon-yong’ who was born and raised in the rural village of Yongduri. He graduated from Seoul National University Law School and works as a legal director at Queens Group.
Baek Hyun-woo falls in love with Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), a third-generation Queens Group conglomerate whom he met by chance when he was a new employee. Breaking everyone’s expectations, he successfully marries the daughter of Korea’s largest conglomerate and is called the ‘marriage of the century’, but his married life is far from what he imagined.
