He said, “We demand transparent information disclosure, complete safety verification, and the withdrawal of the contaminated water discharge plan without the consent of neighboring countries and the international community.” said

“I hope that President Seok-Yeol Yoon fulfills his duties and responsibilities to protect the lives and safety of our people,” he said.

Governor Kim said, “After giving up the ‘past’ of Korea at the last summit, I cannot give up the ‘present’ and ‘future’ at this summit.” We will do everything in our power to do so,” he added.

President Yoon will hold a summit meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the Presidential Office in Yongsan on the 7th, and it is known that the issue of the discharge of contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant is highly likely to be included on the agenda of the meeting.
