The courtroom was sharpened in 3 years
Korea’s speed skating women’s long-distance signboard Kim Bo-reum (28, Gangwon Provincial Office) filed a lawsuit for compensation for damages against Roh Roh, 32, in connection with the’bullying driving’ controversy.
In early November of last year, Kim Bo-reum filed a lawsuit for damages of 200 million won against Roon-young in the Seoul Central District Court. Kim Bo-reum said, “Roh Sun-young said false facts in a media interview, and because of the accusations, he suffered mental damage, such as receiving psychiatric treatment. In addition, it suffered economic damage from the suspension of advertising and sponsorship.” Kim Bo-reum also claimed that he had been subjected to harsh acts such as swearing and verbal abuse from 2010 by the senior national representative, Noh, Roh-young.
Accordingly, at the first pleadings held at the 36th Division of the Civil Agreement of the Seoul Central District Court (Deputy Judge Hwang Soon-Hyeon), Roh Sun-young’s representative said, “Roh Sun-young did not give a false interview. “Rohn Yeong, too, will file a counterclaim in consideration of suffering mentally from Kim Bo-reum’s false interview.” Kim Bo-reum was criticized for being a’bullying run’ after leaving the last runner Noh Yoo-young a long time behind the women’s team at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. However, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which conducted a special audit after the Olympics, announced that “Kim Boreum’s play was not intentional.” The next pleading date is scheduled for March 17.
