Perpetrator child killings in Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi has been arrested by the police. Reported detikSulsel, initially a five-year-old toddler was reported missing. After investigation, it turned out that the toddler died and his body was found by residents.

The perpetrator killed the victim on Sunday (12/2/2023) at his house. Initially, around 18.45 WITA, the perpetrator called the victim who was passing by his house.
Then, the perpetrator took the victim to his bedroom. There, the perpetrator killed the victim by strangling her.
“The victim was killed in the perpetrator’s bedroom,” said Kotamobagu Police Chief AKBP Dasveri Abdi when asked for confirmation from detik.com, Friday (17/2/2023).
In addition to killing, the perpetrator also raped the victim’s body before throwing it away. After that, the perpetrator fled.
“So when he was at home according to the suspect’s statement, when he was at home because the victim had been strangled and he (the perpetrator) panicked, then he thought of running away,” said Dasveri.
“After it was confirmed that the victim was dead, he put it in a sack and then took him to the Ponompiaan plantation and then had sex with the victim,” he added.
Body Found in Plantation Area
Kotamobagu Police Chief AKBP Dasveri Abdi said that the victim’s father, Miran Pobela, only realized that his daughter was missing around 19.00 WITA. After that, the victim’s father immediately looked for his daughter’s whereabouts in the homes of several families, but was not found.
“With no victim found yet, Miran Pobela immediately reported it to the village administration, then Sangadi (village head) immediately contacted Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas of Inuai Village by telephone,” said Dasveri.
After a search, the victim’s body was found on Thursday (16/2/2023). His body was thrown into a plantation area in Ikarat Village, Domoga District, Bolmong.
