The photo with his appearance in front of Themis instantly blew up social networks, because in this form Valev looks like a mobster from a Hollywood production.
The person sentenced to life imprisonment was escorted under heavy security to the Administrative Court of Sofia Region at 7 Saborna St. in the center of the capital.

From there, they explained that tobacco products and glasses appear in the list of permitted items and objects that prisoners have the right to possess and keep in their possession.
“The cigar in the person’s mouth clearly shows the demonstrative search for provocation and public attention that characterizes the behavior of a prisoner. Apparently, the effect has been achieved,” said the directorate, quoted by BTA.
Attention has been paid to the employees of the GDO for “more strict and strict performance of their official duties in similar situations in which an obvious provocation is sought”.
Georgi Valev was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole for the organization of two murders of Tarnovo lawyer Petar Lupov and Shumen businessman Rumen Rachev. He is part of the group led by Petar Stoyanov-Sumista, Vasil Kostov-Vasco Ketsa and Yanko Popov – Tutso Debelia.
Valev is a philologist and former German language teacher. During the mega-trial, the “Killers” declared themselves the sons of honest idealistic communists.
