“Killer” AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT?

EVGA introduced the new GeForce RTX 2060 KO and RTX 2060 KO Ultra video cards. The main feature of the representatives of the new KO series is their very low cost – the price of each of the new products does not exceed $ 300. And at the same time, the manufacturer assures that they have quite good overclocking potential.

This potential should be ensured by the cooling system, which occupies two expansion slots in height and includes an aluminum radiator with copper heat pipes and two fans. According to EVGA, the GeForce RTX 2060 KO (Ultra) cooling system is better than the reference GeForce RTX 2060.

The graphics processor of the GeForce RTX 2060 KO graphics card works with reference frequencies equal to 1365/1680 MHz. The older GeForce RTX 2060 KO Ultra will be able to offer a Boost frequency of up to 1755 MHz. 6 GB GDDR6 video memory works with a reference effective frequency of 12 GHz. Each of the new products is equipped with an 8-pin auxiliary power connector and has one video output DVI, HDMI and Display Port.

The younger GeForce RTX 2060 KO is available for pre-order on the EVGA website at a price of $ 279.99, while for the overclocked GeForce RTX 2060 KO Ultra they ask for $ 299.99. With such prices, the new products will actually be able to directly compete with the new Radeon RX 5600 XT, and at the same time they will obviously be more productive. Probably in the foreseeable future, other manufacturers of video cards will also introduce the most affordable models of the GeForce RTX 2060.
