Killed ex-wife with two stab wounds in Cascais and fled

A 38-year-old woman was killed with two stab wounds in Alcabideche, Cascais, by her ex-partner, who is on the run and being sought by the authorities.

The warning was given by the neighbors at 22.45 on Saturday.

A 38-year-old woman was killed with two stab wounds to her chest in a dwelling in Praceta de Moçambique, Alcabideche, Cascais, a source from PSP’s Metropolitan Command of Lisbon (Cometlis) told JN.

The 40-year-old murder suspect has fled the scene and is being sought by members of the PSP Cascais Division, the same source added.

“The former couple, of Moldovan nationality, had already lived together in the housing where the crime occurred, which occurred in a situation of domestic violence,” explained the source of the PSP.

When the authorities arrived at the house, the woman was still alive and was assisted by the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), but could not resist the serious injuries and the death was declared on the spot.

The PJ was called in to investigate the case.
