Kiev’s Possible Shortage of British Storm Shadows and French SCALPs by October: The Wall Street Journal Report

Kiev may run out of British Storm Shadows and French SCALPs by October. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal on August 29.

“Depending on the level of spending, Kiev may run out of stocks of Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG cruise missiles by October,” the article says.

It is noted that Ukraine needs long-range ATACMS missiles and Taurus cruise missiles. According to the newspaper, the country needs support over the next six weeks to have a realistic chance of a breakthrough that will change the course of hostilities.

Earlier, on August 26, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov stated that he was optimistic about the supply of long-range Taurus missiles by Germany to Kyiv. In his opinion, the delivery of these missiles to Ukraine will not be delayed for a long time.

August 22 Ambassador of Ukraine to France Vadim Omelchenko confirmed the transfer of the first batch of SCALP missiles by Paris to Kyiv. He added that deliveries will continue.
