Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Kiev considers it impossible to talk about spheres of influence after the end of the Cold War.
According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin demands from NATO countries to recognize the Russian sphere of influence on neighboring countries.
“It’s time to call a spade a spade. Putin is demanding that the US, NATO and the EU recognize Russia’s sphere of influence, to which sovereign neighboring states belong. But the cold war ended long ago, and with it the spheres of influence ”, – wrote Kuleba on Twitter.
Formerly Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov named the terrific preliminary Russian-American meeting on security assurances that took place in Geneva.
