The man mixed chemicals in a plastic container, which, as a result of synthesis, exploded and injured the owner.
In the Desnyanskiy district of Kiev, an explosion occurred in an apartment of one of the high-rise buildings, as a result of which the owner of the premises was injured. On Monday, March 22, the press service of the regional police reported.
It is noted that the incident took place the night before on Zakrevsky Street.
“Yesterday, at about 21:00, the metropolitan police received a message from the emergency hospital that they were approached by a 59-year-old man with injuries sustained during an explosion in his own apartment on Zakrevskogo Street,” the message says.
On the spot, law enforcement officers carried out primary investigative actions and found that the owner was mixing unidentified chemicals in a plastic container, which exploded as a result of synthesis.
Investigators entered information about the incident in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations and began criminal proceedings under the article on illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives (part 1 of article 263) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years in prison.
Recall last week the explosion in the suburbs killed three people… The reason was the violation of the rules for the operation of gas appliances, which provoked a gas leak and an explosion.
Earlier in the city of Kamenskoe, Dnipropetrovsk region during explosion in an apartment of a residential building two people were injured.
