The Russian-Ukrainian war was marked not only by Ukrainian victories, but also by defeats. The head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kiril Budanov named the three main defeats in the war in his opinion.
According to Budanov’s subjective opinion, the three main defeats of Ukraine during the war with the Russian Federation were:
temporary defeat of Ukraine in the Severodonetsk region;
breach of the defense line in the area of Volnovaha;
the admission of temporary occupation of some regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as Crimea in 2014.
However, he also added that they will all be corrected. When asked what helped Ukraine to survive, Budanov also gave three reasons, writes the Ukrainian publication Focus.
“If I say that God is with us, will you accept the answer? The second is that we defend our land – that helps. It is easier to play at home. The third reason is that the whole civilized world is fighting us, we are not themselves,” said Kiril Budanov.
On February 22, the Main Intelligence Directorate announced that in early February the strengthening of the offensive of the armed forces of the Russian Federation began – this is the “big offensive” itself.
