Law enforcers detained the malefactors who kidnapped the young man in Odessa and demanded $ 1 million for his return. About this on Friday, March 26, reported the head of the National Police Igor Klimenko.
The guy was kidnapped on the night of March 23-24. The victim was taken to Kiev in a rented car and kept tied up in a rented apartment.
“The kidnappers told their father about their conditions by telephone: US $ 1 million,” the message says.
During the transfer of part of the money in the amount of 100 thousand dollars on March 26, two accomplices of the kidnappers were detained in Odessa.
In a rented apartment in the center of Kiev, commandos detained four people and released the hostage.
As Igor Klimenko noted, all the kidnappers are from one of the Transcaucasian countries.
