Christian Hock’s protest against a ruling by the Regionalliga Südwest was unsuccessful. The OFC sports director will have to watch the game on Saturday (2 p.m.) against FSV Mainz 05 II from the stands.

Offenbach – Coach Christian Neidhart had expressed criticism several times about the organization of the test games in the summer preparation. Now the regional soccer team Kickers Offenbach has reacted and concluded a cooperation agreement with one of the two leading German service providers for the organization and implementation of training camps and test matches.

The company onside will work this field for the OFC for the next three years. Offenbach’s sports director Christian Hock hopes that the deal will “find attractive opponents for test matches”. Onside maintains contacts with all German federal and second division teams. The provider was active for the first time in the summer, when the OFC was a guest at third division promoted Preußen Münster – and lost 1:4. Hock is currently examining options with his cooperation partner for a training camp in Turkey in February.

On Saturday (2 p.m.) Hock will have to take on a spectator role in the stadium against Mainz 05 II. The sports court of the Regionalliga Südwest rejected his protest against the verdict – a fine and an indoor ban for a game. Hock, who watched a game for the first time as the Kickers’ new manager last season in the 2-0 defeat at the 05er’s Bundesliga reserves on Bruchweg, attacked the referee too vehemently in the 1-1 draw against Koblenz. The 53-year-old, who was previously active in Mainz, accepted the verdict and is now not allowed to be in the dressing room or on the pitch for 30 minutes before and after the game.

» The Main duel between Eintracht Frankfurt II and OFC on Sunday, December 3rd (6 p.m.) will be played in the stadium of league rivals FSV Frankfurt on Bornheimer Hang. jm
