After four players from the regional league team Kickers Offenbach were banned indefinitely from the U21, three talents are currently allowed to show themselves with the professionals.

Offenbach – Of the four Offenbacher Kickers professionals who were banished indefinitely to the U21 team (Group League Frankfurt East), four were in the reserve matchday squad for the 4-0 home win against 1. FC Langen on Sunday.

While midfielders Julian Albrecht (21) and Christian Derflinger (29) called in sick at short notice, striker Noah Vuko (19) initially sat on the bench and was substituted on in the 74th minute. Offensive man Mike Feigenspan (28) played from the start and scored the final score. But there will probably be no going back for him, nor for Derflinger and Albrecht. The OFC would not put any obstacles in the trio’s way if they moved during the winter break. In the case of Vuko (contract until 2026), who was sent to the U21 for purely sporting reasons, we will probably wait to see his further development.

In addition to Feigenspan, Michel Thierry Veh and Oliver Kovacic (2) also scored. For the U21 top scorer, it was already goals number 23 and 24 of the season. This means he continues to lead the league’s scoring list. On Friday, Kovacic trained with the professionals for the first time, as did right winger Ouassim Karada and six Ilias Akaouch from the U19 (Hessen League). “That was performance-related and not position-related,” emphasized sports director Christian Hock. “The boys simply caught our eye.” The trio was used, among other things, in the 2-1 win against FSV Frankfurt in the Rhine-Main Cup, in which the region’s performance centers play against each other with mixed teams. “We have always said that we will reward good performance,” emphasized Hock. The three talents “now have the chance to show themselves in training with us for a week.”
