2:59 p.m .: A look at the other places in the Regionalliga Südwest: SV Elversberg leads 1-0 against leaders SC Freiburg II. If she wins, there is actually a long-distance duel for promotion on the last day of the game if there is only two points behind (goal difference currently the same).
45. +1 Minute: Half time in Aalen. The OFC determines the game for a long time, but creates too little that is really compelling. The hosts had the biggest chance of the game after a goalie-mistake, but Abruscia failed to Flauder (42.)
45. Minute: The ball is in the Aalen net. Huseinbasic had staged Deniz, who lifted the ball into the goal. But before that he had checked his opponent away too heartily.
42. Minute: Zieliecki becomes cocky, dares a solo in the penalty area, his pass is dangerous, Abruscia gets the ball, but Flauder was careful. That could have been really dangerous.
41. Minute: Long pass from Marcos into the middle, Deniz starts, but the ball is a little too sharp. Layer has it.
39. Minute: Basking times in the attack, but Marcos clears in the penalty area with a strong tackle against Bux.
35. Minute: The next shot on goal by the Kickers: Deniz pulls off after Firat’s presentation, but the ball comes centrally. No problem for goalkeeper layers.
33. Minute: The kickers often fall into the offside trap. Now Marcos Huseinbasic is setting the scene on the left, but the 19-year-old had probably walked a tad too far.
30. Minute: OFC successful in counter-pressing, Firat puts Deniz in the scene on the right, who immediately crosses into the middle, but Soriano was offside.
29. Minute: The OFC now controls the game, but coach Sreto Ristic is always active on the sidelines, hiring his team and correcting individual players during positional play.
27. Minute: After corners it’s 7-0 for the OFC. But also the seventh attempt, flat from Deniz’s left, is cleared.
26. Minute: Sobotta puts the turbo on the left, his pass to Huseinbasic gets a bit in the back, so that the youngster does not put any pressure on the ball. Seconds later Sobotta is through to the left again, decides against the shot, for the flank, which is cleared for a corner.
25. Minute: Bad bad pass from Soriano, whose blunders the Aalen can not use.
20. Minute: The OFC again. Huseinbasic over right. Soriano is blocked in the middle. Fourth corner. Firat brings them, Layer clears the fifth corner. But that doesn’t bring anything either.
19. Minute: Double chance for the OFC. First Firat heads on goal, Layer steers to the corner. Deniz brings them – and finds Albrecht, who heads past to the left.
18. Minute: Now Deniz with the through pass to Firat, who crosses from the right again with the right – but in the middle we cleared the ball.
17. Minute: Karbstein makes up for it, jumps up in the wall and defuses Abruscia’s attempt.
16. Minute: Karbstein comes too late against Barini, free kick from a central position, 24 meters.
14. Minute: Many duels in the game, Aalen presses quite bravely against the OFC. Now Marcos has to thrash the bullet out.
11. Minute: First nice attack by the OFC. Deniz puts out to the right on Firat – who crosses unusually with his right – but in the middle the kickers are blocked when attempting a shot. Deniz’s final attempt is no problem for Aalen’s goalkeeper layer.
10. Minute: OFC free kick from the right, cousin had been attacked unfairly. But Deniz’s ball flies past all players into the side.
8. Minute: Quite speed in the game, but nothing really compelling has come out on either side.
4. Minute: Aalen free-kick from the left, but the ball clears and the OFC ultimately receives a throw-in.
2. Minute: First corner for the OFC. She brings in Sobotta’s sprint over the left side. Deniz’s first attempt is cleared to the second corner.
1. Minute: The ball rolls.
2.00 p.m .: The teams are on the field, and things are about to start. The referee of the game is Philipp Hofheinz (Niefern-Öschelbronn).
2.00 p.m .: The Aalen players come to the field with a banner: “Thank you for your support” is written on it. For the first time since October, at least 100 viewers are allowed again.
1.56 p.m.: In the Regionalliga Südwest, the OFC are still without a win in three games against Aalen (0: 3, 1: 1, 0: 2). So it would be the ideal time to improve this balance. Also in the duels in the 3rd division there was no victory in three games in Aalen.
1.54 p.m .: The VfR, whose club anthem is being played here at an impressive volume, also has many personnel problems, including missing the goal scorer Steffen Kienle, who was brought from Ulm in winter. Trainer Uwe Wolf called up these eleven: Layer – Arh Cesen, Herrmann, Abruscia, Stanese, Barini, Bux, Arslan, Müller, Merk, Volz.
1:50 p.m .: Tim Dierßen (torn cruciate ligament), Charles Elie Laprevotte (rehab after ankle joint blast) and Marco Fritscher (torn muscle fiber) and Francesco Calabrese (torn ankle ligament) are still not available to Ristic.
1:48 p.m .: The line-up of the kickers: Flauder – Vetter, Destinationsiecki, Karbstein, Marcos – Albrecht – Firat, Deniz, Huseinbasic, Sobotta – Soriano – Bank: Draband – Kargbo, Garic, Lemmer, Bojaj, Fetsch, Tuma
1:47 p.m .: The Kickers traveled to Swabia yesterday.
1:46 p.m .: Coach Sreto Ristic made three changes in the starting line-up compared to the 6-1 win against Astoria Walldorf on Tuesday: Marcell Sobotta, Tunay Deniz (after serving a yellow card suspension) and Elia Soriano start for Florent Bojaj, Mathias Fetsch and Davud Tuma.
1.45 p.m .: Welcome from the Ostalb-Arena in Aalen. The OFC is playing its last away game of this mammoth 2020/2021 season today. Host VfR Aalen is in 12th place and has no more worries since the significant reduction in relegation. The Kickers want to defend third place and have scored an impressive 32 points more than the Swabians (49). Nevertheless: Aalen is something of a feared opponent, inflicting the OFC’s only home defeat in the first leg (0: 2).
Offenbach / Aalen – The 2020/21 season is about to end and Kickers Offenbach meets VfR Aalen on the penultimate matchday. The game in the Ostalb Arena starts on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at 2 p.m. It will be the OFC’s last away game.
Kickers Offenbach is in third place in the Regionalliga Südwest and has no chance of displacing SC Freiburg II from the top of the table, because the Breisgauers already have eight points ahead of two outstanding games. Only SV Elversberg can dispute the championship against Freiburg, but the Saarlanders are also five points behind and need a win in a direct duel and then a mistake by the front runner. The OFC can still catch Elversberg, but SSV Ulm can also push them to fourth place.
OFC: Away game at VfR Aalen
The hosts from VfR Aalen occupy twelfth place in the table with 49 points. The team of coach Uwe Wolf lost 2: 3 at SG Sonnenhof Großaspach. In the Ostalb Arena at home, the upcoming opponents of Kickers Offenbach celebrated seven wins in the current season, played seven draws and suffered six defeats.
The first leg between Kickers Offenbach and VfR Aalen ended at Bieberer Berg with a 2-0 home defeat for OFC. It is the only bankruptcy on their own lawn in the entire season for Kickers Offenbach.
OFC: Vincent Moreno Giesel is dying to make his debut
OFC player Vincent Moreno Giesel is excited about his debut in the Regionalliga Südwest: “I was able to learn a lot in my first year with the professionals and have already been in the squad four times. Even if it has not yet led to an operation, I will now give full throttle again after recovering from the injury. “
Sreto Ristic, coach of Kickers Offenbach, wants to make the last away game of the season victorious. “After the coach change, VfR Aalen can no longer be compared with the team in the preliminary round. They will want to give everything again in their last home game in front of spectators. We are concentrating on preparing for this opponent and of course we want to be successful on the Eastern Alb too. “
Meanwhile, Kickers Offenbach has extended the contract with striker Elia Soriano.
