The Kickers had to accept a bitter home defeat against a well-adjusted visiting team. It was the third defeat in a row for the Aschaffenburg women, who were currently badly shaken.

Bezirksoberliga Unterfranken: Kickers Aschaffenburg – FC Hopferstadt 0:4 (0:2). – Bernd Gramminger’s team took control of the game in the first 20 minutes and also gained field advantages – but without being particularly dangerous in front of the visitors’ goal. After half an hour, the Kickers women were suddenly hit by a double blow: Hopferstadt took advantage of a blatant passing error by the locals in the 29th minute and surprisingly took the lead.

“When the guests even scored 0-2 just a minute later, it was clear that it was going to be a very difficult game for us,” reports Kickers department head Manfred Bilz. »The Hopferstadt coach had adjusted his team very well and so the long passes from our defense rarely found their way. After the break, our girls increased the pressure, but the guests stuck to their guns and made it 3-0 in the 63rd minute. They gave us the final knockout with a 4-0 defeat in the 80th minute of the game,” continued Bilz.

The Kickers are now in the fight to stay in the league, as this defeat will see them drop to eighth place, which would mean relegation.

“We’re looking forward to the winter break, when the hospital for the injured will hopefully clear up so that all players will be fit and healthy again for the second half of the season,” hopes Bilz. – 0:1 Jakober (29th), 0:2 Förster (30th), 0:3 Wolf (63rd), 0:4 Drescher (80th). – Referee: Georg Hasenstab. – Spectators: 55.

DJK Würzburg – TSV Keilberg 1:1 (1:1). – Sebastian Schimetka speaks of a “lucky point win” at the second-to-last team in Würzburg. “Unfortunately we didn’t play aggressively enough today, we were always a little late and we can be happy about the point,” said the TSV coach succinctly. – 1:0 Scheugenpflug (20th), 1:1 Roth (38th). – Referee: Karl-Heinz Buschermöhle. – Spectators: 40.
