Martial arts Kornhass is on a medal frenzy! The team from the Rosenheim martial arts school won 42 medals at the World Kickboxing Championships in Rhodes. These are the new title holders.
Rhodes – The WKU World Championships in Rhodes with over 2000 fighters not only offered exciting fights, but also an opportunity for exchange between athletes from different cultures and countries. The athletes from the Kornhass martial arts team had trained hard. Their preparation included not only technical exercises and sparring, but also mental training methods to increase concentration and focus during fights. They also had to qualify for the World Cup through national tournaments throughout the year. This extensive preparation paid off when they competed on the international stage.

The battles themselves were characterized by techniques, speed and strategic thinking. The athletes not only had to demonstrate their physical abilities, but also their mental strength to remain calm in stressful situations. The trainers, all experienced martial artists themselves, played a crucial role by supporting their charges during the fights and giving them tips.

The 17 gold, 15 silver and ten bronze medals that the kickboxers won in all disciplines, from light contact to full contact, are not only a recognition of their sporting achievements, but also of the tireless effort and dedication they have shown in the martial arts. (re)
